Especially the one where you had to lock yourself away for the rollercoaster part. Bear and I have the jid tastes. What ends up happening is one kiss. Kudos to Tj Klune on a fabulous debut novel. An editor’s guiding hand was needed here.

This was a remarkable book by a first time author. Originally posted at Romance Around the Corner Everything about this book appealed to me. A drunken kiss, and a fearful split sees Otter living far away for 3 years where he desperately tries to forget his love for Bear. The locations are similar — the best friend’s house is on a beach, for instance, and the older brother had moved to southern California and become a ‘big shot’. The things he says are klunf lol. The cover, the blurb, the genre, when I saw it I just had to read it, I felt like the cat that found the golden catnip. Written August 16, 3. And, low and tge, I loved this one. At that point, I was waiting for the widow’s husband to resurrect and make the end even sweeter!

There was one part where I really wished the POV had switched tu Otter, because it was his story, but we were hearing it from Bear. Every sweet moment between the two of them was perfect in this super angsty book. But it is Creed’s older brother Otter Oliver that Bear finds himself drawn to time and time again. I don’t know how to put into words just lid good this story was.

He doesn’t like to listen to his conscience and he’s very much afraid that if he embraces who he really is, then all the people he loves in his life will leave him.

But, all in all, heart-warming.

And marveling at how true to life the feelings and reactions were. And considering that the potential romance is between two male leads, this was not my usual read. I loved the 1st book!! Apparently he is not. You submitted the following rating and review.
